Cool dice!

Got some sharp edge dice from here. They look really nice and roll well. Shipping was okay, took about a week and a half to get to me. I'd definitely buy more stuff from them.

Decent foam, confusing website

I needed storage for my Star Wars Legion collection, so I bought some Pick and Pluck Foam and a Tyrant Figure Case. The foam itself was easy enough to customize, and the case feels sturdy for carrying everything around. I did have some trouble figuring out exactly which foam trays were best for my specific units on the website; it wasn't as clear as I hoped. My order arrived in about 10 days to Seattle, which was within their estimated window. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about an order confirmation I hadn't received. The case is good, but navigating the product options could be smoother.

Good case, slow delivery

I ordered a Defender Figure Case and a few Alien Foam Trays. The case itself is solid and the foam fit my Warhammer 40k miniatures perfectly. Shipping to the US took about 12 days, which felt a bit long. The tracking was a little spotty at times, but it eventually arrived. Overall, good value for the quality, just plan for the delivery time.

Does anyone know if their cases and foam trays are designed to fit Games Workshop miniatures well? Like, are the slots generally sized right for things like Space Marines and bigger stuff?

N Nick Lindqvist 2 months ago
Yup, totally. Their stuff is made with GW minis in mind. Most of the foam trays have slots that fit standard Space Marines, Eldar, etc. perfectly. They even have specific trays for bigger models.

Yeah, they pretty much cater to GW players. I've got a whole army in their Tyrant case, all Warhammer stuff, and it fits great. You can also get custom foam if you have really weird models.

So I found a 10% off code online, but I'm also looking at one of their army case bundles. Can I stack the discount code on top of the bundle price?

S Shane 2 months ago
Nah, usually you can only use one discount at a time. Most places, if something's already bundled or on sale, you can't use another coupon on it. It's a bummer but that's how it is.

Pretty sure their codes don't work on already discounted bundles. Had that happen with a Black Friday deal once. You gotta pick which saving is better for you.

How do these cases compare to Feldherr? Specifically looking at the foam quality and how durable the cases themselves are.

E Emma 3 months ago
I've used both. Tabletop Tyrant's foam feels a little firmer, which I prefer. Cases are pretty comparable in durability, both hold up well. Tyrant's prices are often better though.

Tabletop Tyrant is definitely up there. The foam is excellent, and the cases are sturdy. Feldherr is good too, but I think Tyrant's foam cradles miniatures a bit better, personal preference though.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with their custom foam. Is it good quality, and can you send it back if it's not quite right?

J Josh P. 2 months ago
The custom foam is solid, definitely premium stuff. But heads up, if you get something custom made, you probably can't return it unless it's defective. That's pretty standard for custom orders everywhere.

Quality is top-notch. I got a tray for some weird-sized minis and it was perfect. As for returns, I don't think they do them for custom stuff since it's made just for you. Always check the policy though!

Hey, thinking about grabbing a Defender case for my 40k army. Does their stuff ship to the US? And how long does it usually take to get to, say, California?

S Sophie 2 months ago
Yeah, they ship worldwide. I got a bunch of foam trays delivered to New York a few months back. Took about a week and a half, maybe two, for me.

Can confirm, they ship to the US. I think their website says something about 7-14 business days for international, but it can sometimes be a bit longer with customs. Depends on the carrier too, afaik.
